  • A warm and nurturing team, with staff who are kind, direct, and compassionate.

Income

  • We are an insurance based practice and our payment model reflects this. At this time, we do not foresee ending our insurance contracts. We used to provide payment that was split 50/50 based on the amount a clinician specifically brought in. This worked well…until we noticed that this created pay disparity among clinicians. We switched to a flat pay rate with annual redistribution. Here’s how it works:

  • For clinical work: Fully Licensed Clinicians get paid $55 per 53 minute session.

  • Indirect hours: Each clinician also gets awarded 3 indirect hours per week (paid at $20/hour) for every 10 clients that they see. These indirect hours are time to write notes, attend consult groups, receive supervision*, consult with a colleague, coordinate care, etc. If you are conducting 20 sessions, that means you’ll have 6 indirect hours per week awarded to you.

  • Redistribution: At the end of the year, we take the revenue from private pay clients and redistribute it to clinicians based on the clinical hours they’ve worked, with priority to Fully Licensed Clinicians.

The Math: If you are conducting 20 sessions/week (plus the 6 indirect hours) and working for 48 weeks/year (meaning 4 weeks off unpaid, 1+ week paid), you can expect to earn roughly $58,560 plus redistribution at the end of the year. You’ll also get the benefits above. You can work more than this to make more money than this, but you don’t have to.

  • We are always trying to improve benefits and salary. <3 We know you are worth more than this and we also don’t know how to make services accessible to the people we serve and pay you more right now. It’s okay if you want to be in private practice or work for a group practice that doesn’t accept insurance or sees more people private pay. We support you in that and just want to be clear about what we can offer so you can decide if this works for you.

*A note on supervision: All clinicians must attend our monthly consult group. Fully Licensed Clinicians must receive supervision monthly unless determined otherwise by their supervisor. There are lots of opportunities to sharpen your practice and we want you to choose how best to support yourself as a clinician.
