They/Them

Liberation, connection, and relationship building are at the root of therapy. When the fullness of ourselves and our experiences are held with care, we can tap into all the possibilities of the people we want to become and the communities we want to build. Therapy can (and should!) be a space where you can build up supports that enhance community connection, safety, and action.

My practice is firmly guided by anti-racist, harm reduction, and transformative justice values. Together, we will create an empowering environment where you can consistently attune yourself to the impact of systems, build relationships and shape a future aligned with our desired outcomes. The folks I work with appreciate the accountability therapy brings to self and other, and feel motivated and cared for by the ways I lovingly challenge us both in this work.

Whether you are trying to figure out your support needs (and how to get them met!); wanting to define your values (and how to live by them!); or wondering what’s next in your life after feeling stuck— I want to help. My approach is trauma informed, driven by you. I want to support you in experiencing the fullness of you identities, experiences, values, and desires. I deeply believe in centering joy and playfulness in our work together work.

While I have worked with and continue to work with people of all backgrounds, my greatest passion and priority is in working with queer and trans community. I have particular experience working with queer and trans clients who have some of the following experiences or identities:

  • LGBTQIA+ adults

  • LGBTQIA+ youth (13+)

  • LGBTQIA+ young adults

  • Grief and loss

  • Disability and chronic illness

  • Neurodivergent individuals

  • Polyamory and kink

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Interpersonal violence survivors

  • Aspiring or current parents

  • Trans parents who are currently pregnant, peripartum, or postpartum

  • People involved in community building and advocacy work

Education: I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington in 2023. Before this, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Western Washington University in 2019. Currently I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate.

Background: My work and values as a therapist are informed by my experiences in community organizing and mutual aid work. I have worked within a variety of roles in community based and non-profit settings serving community members over the last six years, and have worked extensively with LGBTQ+ survivors of interpersonal violence, neurodivergent individuals, low income individuals and families, and queer and trans youth and parents. I completed my master’s practicum at Whole Valley Therapy.

Beyond Therapy: When I am not working, I am often spending time with the people and creatures I love. I love to play and cuddle with my two cats and cook and try new recipes and spend as much quality outdoor time as I can with the people I love. I also love to swim, garden, rewatch Bob’s Burgers, play Stardew Valley, and try as many different art forms as I can (currently, I am exploring pottery).
